Our Commitment to Privacy

At BloodCuff, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal health information when you use our blood pressure tracking service.

Information We Collect

Health Data:

  • Blood pressure readings (systolic and diastolic values) and pulse rate
  • Blood glucose, weight, blood oxygen (SpO2), and body temperature readings
  • Food journal entries (what you ate, which meal, and any details you add)
  • Alcohol entries (number and kind of drinks per day) and, if you enter them, your average cost per drink and typical daily baseline
  • Date and time of each entry, and optional context such as arm, exercise, caffeine, or alcohol
  • Photos of monitor or device displays (processed for extraction and not retained)
  • Medications and dose logs you add

Voice Entry:

  • When you use the microphone, speech is converted to text on your device using Apple's speech recognition. Audio recordings are never uploaded.
  • The resulting text transcript is sent to our servers so the reading, meal, or drinks you described can be interpreted. We keep transcripts and their interpretation to diagnose recognition problems and improve accuracy.
  • Nothing is saved to your log until you confirm it in the app.

Account Information:

  • Email address for account creation
  • Basic profile information you choose to provide
